Letter tracing worksheets

Pick a letter and print a tracing sheet for that letter alone. Each page shows where the pencil starts, how the letter sits on the lines, and the mix-up with the letter next to it, then a solid example row and dashed tracing rows. The PDF downloads on that page.

Name tracing is the same sheet with any word typed in.

Common questions

What is on each letter tracing worksheet?

One lowercase letter. The page says where the pencil starts, how the letter sits on the lines, and which neighboring letter it gets mixed up with. Under that is a solid example row and dashed tracing rows. The PDF downloads on that page.

Are these Zaner-Bloser or D'Nealian worksheets?

No. The rows use Patrick Hand, an open-source print font. Dashed rows are outlines of the whole letter, not numbered stroke arrows. The sentences on each letter page are the stroke instructions.

Can I trace a name instead of one letter?

Yes. Name tracing uses the same kind of sheet for any word you type, and you can change the row height there.
